INTRODUCTION
Let us get the bad news over before I tell you about this fabulous Thunderbird. This Bird has had a previous salvage title. If there is good news to the story it is because there was only moderate damage to the car when it was bought by a collision shop owner to be his personnel car. The T-Bird has the original VIN sticker on the hood, remnants of sticker on left ft fender, no sticker on the right ft fender, sticker on left door, sticker on left quarter panel, sticker on trunk lid, sticker on the right door and sticker on right quarter panel. The only possible replace sheet metal would be the right front fender. You can not buy or replicate these factory stickers At the time of purchase in October of 2007, it had approximately 49,000 miles. From that point to now it has been a flawless performing car.
EXTERIOR
This Thunderbird is striking in its beautiful pewter silver finish. The body is near perfect with no dings, dents, scratches or cuts. The paint is exceptional. The black german cloth top is free of any rips, tears or premature wear. There is a tiny stone chip in the windshield otherwise it is as new.
INTERIOR
The full leather interior is near flawless showing no rips, tears or premature wear. The dash is mint as is the carpet and door panels. This Thunderbird includes the boot cover when the top is down.
POWERTRAIN/DRIVETRAIN
The performance is outstanding as it should be as the power train is the same as a Lincoln LS and Jaguar S-Type. This Bird has been properly maintained and there are no known defects.
WHEELS/TIRES
The 235/70/17 Michelin MXM4 radials have 55-60% tread life remaining. The factory alloy wheels are excellent.
