This is a unique opportunity to buy a 1956 Thunderbird in the midst of a frame-off restoration. The gentleman who was doing the resto is no longer able to work on it. It is now up for auction and will be sold. The price is very fair and a great opportunity to get into a high-dollar antique car for a minimal investment. The body was lifted from the frame and the frame was bead-blasted and re-finished. The brake lines were all replaced. The tires are all new. The engine was rebuilt. The interior is mostly new panels. The soft top is new. I don't have the hard top. The body is freshly painted. The pics look bad but it is nicer in person. The trans was in the midst of being taken out or put in. I would suggest rebuilding it because I don't have the facts on it. The car does not drive as it is. This is being sold with a transferrable NY registration. I don't have a whole lot of add'l info on it so I put the price extremely low for quick sale. I haven't advertised it locally but may do so. If it sells locally I will end the auction.
