Vehicle AD: Please read the entire auction on this car, there is a lot listed. This is a 1959 Ford Thunderbird. This is a running car, but should be considered a project in need of TLC. The exterior of the T bird is painted white. The paint has numerous scratches and chips around the body. The lower running board area shows some bubbling. Pay attention to the lower area behind the front driver’s wheel. There is a rust spot but its minor; also there is a small crack on the driver’s front wheel well. The lights are all there and are functioning. The glass of the car is all there and in good shape. The underside of the car is still in fair condition with some rust. The body is still in good shape with miscellaneous repairs. Interior: The interior is black and white with black carpet. The vinyl seats are in good condition; normal wear. The door panels are also in vinyl. The turn signals, horn, radio, fuel, temp gauge all work. The Power windows are working. Tires: Brand new tires just installed Exhaust: Great condition recently replaced by previous owner. Engine: The V8 does run. The carburetor should be rebuilt and the car should have a tune up for maximum potential, however it runs and idles smooth. The fuel tank has been recently gone through by previous owner. The ignition has been converted to electronic by previous owner. It has the A/C bracket but no compressor as the car came with A/C. Transmission: The car drives and goes into reverse. The shifter linkage needs a little attention. The car runs under its own power but you should trailer the car until you go through it to make it road worthy. The throttle linkage is very stiff and bent slightly and will need attention. The car has a lot of potential plus it’s in good shape structure wise. This is a nice project for someone who wants a 59 T Bird.
