Up for auction is this 1988 Ford Thunderbird Turbo Coupe. It's a 2.3L 4 cylinder, turbocharged. 5 speed manual transmission. It was originally an automatic, but we swapped in a 5 speed from a donor Tbird. We did not cut corners, this swap was done correctly. Runs good, will need a power steering pump sometime soon. ABS light comes on from time to time, so I think theres a sensor going out on one side in the rear. U-joint clicks from time to time, nothing major. There is some slight rust on the fenders and bottom corners. It gets good gas mileage and with a little TLC would make a nice driver. Has a cd player, power seats on both sides. Some sun damage on the dash. This is a good car, not really many of these around anymore. 150,062 miles. This is a NO RESERVE auction. Buyer is responsible for pick up. Located 30 minutes south of Springfield IL or about 1.5 hours from St. Louis. Full payment due within 3 days of auction end. Thanks for looking and good luck!
