This is a fuel pump rebuilding kit for AC fuel pumps. The original diaphragm was made of treated paper, and not very reliable. As a consequence, AC designed these pumps to be rebuilt in the field and sold these kits. They can be rebuilt with hand tools and a vice with the instructions included.

Our kits are made with modern neoprene diaphragms that are compatible with today's lead-free gasoline or alcohol.

These kits contains a diaphragm assembly, and many other internal parts, including linkage, link pins, mounting gasket, instructions, and valves.

note:  All fuel pump kits are hand made.  We stock all the most popular kits but,
if you have a special model fuel pump, it may take as long as 3 weeks
for your kit to be hand made.   Please do not bid on this kit if this delay

We can determine the kit you need by the car and model, however, in case the pump has been replaced with a different model, the part number stamped on the mounting flange would be very helpful.

This kit is not for any dual diaphragm pump which is the type that has vacuum lines to it to help the windshield wipers (see our other auctions for this type).

Not for any pump that has been replaced with a crimped cover type. You need screws on the diaphragm cover to rebuild the pump (see pictures below).


If your pump has been replaced with a different AC version other than OEM, or with a Carter pump, the kit will not be correct, and you will need to exchange it for the correct kit. Our experience is that approximately 3% of the time the kit must be exchanged because the pump has been replaced with a non-OEM type.
