These kits are brand new in the box and they have brass terminals. Check the feedback, they've been hot sellers and everyone loves the quality. We find bunches of these every so often and their hot sellers. Some parts stores charge over a hundred dollars for the cap and rotor, and hundreds of dollars for the distributor.
