This is a 2 owner GMC Caballero Amarillo which is the same as an El Camino but much rarer as only 38,000 were made between the years of 1978 and 1987. In 1983 only 2126 wer made and even fewer were the Amarillo model. The mileage is ACTUAL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It has a 305 V8 and automatic transmission that runs smooth.  Dual exausts with throaty mufflers that make it sound real strong when you drive it down the street. It has power windows. locks ,and a solid interior. The dash booard is cracked and has the full gauge cluster. The original AM - FM cassette player is still in in along with an after market cd player as well.

The air condition has been modified to the new freon and needs to be charged.

 

The body from the cab up is nice and straight and should need minimal work to prep for restoration...It will definetly need need window gaskets etc.The frame looks straight as an arrow as well.

Bed wise the drivers side is pretty good shape but has a few rust spots that need TLC. The Passenger side bed needs to be replaced and the panels are available for about $400 to $500 from ELCAMINOSTORE.com as is most any part you might need.

The interior bed is in pretty good shape with a bed mat included. It appears to have no rust through on it.

All the gauges in the cluster appear to work except for the clock.

The original wheels are on the vehicle and they are in fair to good shape with decent rubber remaining on them.

It looks like most of the badges are with it as well.
