I love this Suburban. I use it for runs to Home Depot, etc. and she always attracts attention. Has the original motor - runs good. All running lights, dash light and dome light work. Gas gauge does not work. Speedometer works. Brakes work but should probably be serviced. Frame is straight. Steering is tight. Body has no dents. Some rust in typical spots around wheel wells but not bad for age. There is a crack at far left of windshield. Interior is in good shape. Floor boards are solid. This had factory air but the compressor has been removed. Transmission is three speed on the column. Linkage is good. As is, this is a very driveable truck. I had dreams of a total restoration but never found the time. This is an "as is" sale. Please come take her for a drive if you are uncertain about bidding. This truck is very reliable. I have never had a time when I could not get it started. I had the water pump replaced about seven years ago and the carb rebuilt about six years ago. She will go interstate speed but it is a much more pleasant drive cruising down a country road! I have a nice JVC stereo mounted under the dash with box speakers in the back. No speaker holes have been cut anywhere and the dash is uncut as well. Apparently, whoever bought the truck originally did not want to pay for the radio option. The original dummy plate is where a radio would be. The stereo and speakers will stay with the truck. Call me for a test drive (423) 505-4846. Good luck bidding!
