For sale is a first series 1955 GMC half ton, five window pickup. It has the 248 cu. in. inline six cylinder engine and three on the tree. It has the open driveshaft and six volt system. Everything is original, as is the mileage of 51017 miles. The only missing piece is the battery hold down. The vehicle has been stored for several years, so the fuel system and brakes need to be gone through. All of the glass is good except for the right door glass. The body has only a couple of small dings. The left cab corner is rusted. The floor boards and running boards have some rust. The items in the box are not included. This would make an excellent project for the winter. It is a solid and complete vehicle. Not to mention there were not very many of these built. I have been told around 200, but I could not ever verify this. .
