This is a Brand New Gentex 50-GENK21A Auto-Dimming Mirror with Compass and Outside Temperature display. The display shows both the compass and outside temperature at the same time on a 2 line display. Everything included in this kit is Brand New and is covered by a 3 year / 36,000 mile Limited Warranty. This mirror uses the latest Gentex technology included in the 2006 and newer mirrors. The compass requires no additional wiring, it is self contained within the mirror. The temperature display requires running the temperature harness from the mirror to an area behind the front grill / bumper where the included temperature sensor can get an accurate outside temperature reading. This is the aftermarket version of the same mirror that comes in many brands of new cars. This mirror would make a great upgrade for your standard rearview mirror. It will dim automatically to reduce the glare from headlights behind so you don't have to fumble with adjusting the mirror every night. This mirror mounts to the windshield with the "wedge" style mount used on most vehicles and is a direct fit for most cars. This kit contains everything needed for a complete installation. A Gentex wire harness, Temperature Sensor, Wire Taps, and Wire Ties. I am also including the wire cover that runs from the mirror base to the headliner to cover the wire harness. The addition of the wire cover makes for a complete, professional looking installation. The included easy to follow instructions walk you step by step through the installation and compass calibration process. If you need a Wedge style windshield mounting tab, it is available free upon request. 

  **This is a Universal Kit. It can be installed in any vehicle. If your vehicle uses the windshield mounted Wedge style mirror mounting tab like most cars do, you can simply remove your current mirror and put this one on your existing mounting tab. If your current mirror uses a different mount or mounts to the roof, you need to request a free Wedge Windshield bracket to install this mirror to your windshield.
