Exceptional condition 1971 Harley Davidson Electraglide shovel head. My Dad bought this new in 1971 and rode it until 1992, when he carefully preserved it with oiled cylinders, empty tanks, disconnected battery, etc., and covered it up. It has always been garage kept and is currently stored where it has always lived in Texas, between DFW and Fort Worth. This FLH was purchased with Harley Davidson's Americana package, which includes three fiberglass boxes, fiberglass fairing and high windshield. It also came from the factory with the beautiful, red, white and blue limited edition "Sparkling America" paint job. This is an unmolested survivor of the AMF years, with all logos and labels intact, and loads of original chrome. Everything is original, as it came from the factory, except for a brand new battery and clutch cable. It was recently carefully re-started with professional assistance and runs good. It has just been professionally detailed. We can find no other vintage Electraglide anywhere on the internet that comes close to this for its condition or near-mint condition. The successful bidder will be obligated to make a $2,000 deposit within 2 days, pay for the title transfer, and arrange for shipment. The full balance will be due at the time of delivery.
