For auction is a 1997 Harley Davidson FXD. This bike had a complete restoration done last winter (2010). It was stripped down to the frame. The frame was sand blasted and powdercoated dark metallic blue. The wheels, hubs, swing arm, handle bars and battery box were also done. The engine was disassembled and freshened up. While it was apart, it was cleaned, prepped, and painted with high heat semi gloss engine paint. The trans and primary were done as well. The engine, trans, and primary covers were all blasted and powder coated silver. The only paint on this bike is on the tins, every thing else is powder coated and then coated in a very durable clear powder coat. This bike has had a bunch of upgrades. The rear wheel, swing arm and rear caliper are all off a 2003 dyna. The rear wheel now has sealed maintenence free bearings. It was powder coated and assembled with new chrome spokes. The front wheel is a 21" wheel from a 2003 Wide Glide whick also contains sealed bearings. It was also powder coated and assembled with new chrome spokes. The brakes front and rear were upgraded to newer 2003 model brake calipers, these not only look better but also stop much better. The front forks were replaced with 41mm wide glide forks. The lower fork legs were powder coated as well.

As you can see in the pics below, this bike is pretty much in like new condition. The bike is spotless! It has about 200 miles on it since its complete rebuild. The engine isnt even fully broken in!
