Filter is rated at 10 Micron with a burst pressure of 340 lbs.

The original application for the filter element only (not the entire unit) is Detroit Diesel 8.2 Liter Eng. (81-92), Detroit Diesel 8.2 Liter Eng. (81-92), so if you have a BIG truck, boat, excavator, bus and want a BIG filter, this is for you. 

Will work on any car, truck, boat, generator, and so on.  Flow is 8-10 gallons per minute or up to 600 gallons per hour.

Excellent for Diesel, Veg oils (new or used), used crankcase oil, and don't forget my favorite: biodiesel.

This unit can be disassembled for cleaning.

This unit measures approximately 9 inches by 6 inches by 5 inches and comes with 3/8" fuel fittings.  if you want 5/16" please specify at the time of purchase.  If you don't tell us you want 5/16" fittings, then you'll get 3/8".

We used these successfully for years and sold them for over $640 when diesel was more than $4.50 gal, but with the lower price of diesel, demand has dropped so we are offering our last 4 units below cost at a closeout never to be seen again price.

Don't be fooled by other units that use an unpractical wrapped band that heats the outside air more than the fuel and requires you to remove the band and then put it on again every time you change the filter.

This is an excellent long term filter that you will never throw away like plastic units that crack from heating up and cooling down and wrapped bands that break and end up in the trash can.

Don't be fooled by remote oil filter units and household well water filters that have been relabeled for Veg. Oil filters have a bypass and when the filter clogs, the bypass lets unfiltered fuel ruin your injector pump and injectors causing expensive repairs. Household well filters are just that and are not designed for veg.
