 INSPECTION items;  Brakes are smooth on hard stop.  Some states like Michigan and Arizona have no state inspection for emissions or safety, and others like California are rigorous.  Therefore, plan to have your tech prepare for your individual state's inspection criteria.  Horn and wipers work, windshield clear, e-brake holds at 5 degrees.  Most trades due for regular maintenance interval and oil change.  Air-Conditioning feels cold- not dye-tested.  Foglamps, bulbs, cassettes, cds and other smaller items are not tested.  Fixits;  Body needs a few hours of bondo and paint in areas around wheelwells where water collects. Fixits; Needs nearly nothing but a new owner!  Brakes on a dime but rotors and pads not measured.  Most trades due for oil change/interval service.  Usual clearcoat scratches, few dings on sides and tops expected on family vehicles of the era.(see pix)Cargo/interior fabric due for shampoo.  Touch-up  needed on spots above wheel wells where water gets trapped. Overall one sharp, gas-friendly SUV!
