2006 Honda Civic SI

Selling off is a 2006 HONDA CIVIC SI with manual 6-SPD transmission and 33,909 miles. The Rebuilt Titled car was purchased with front end damage through an Insurance Auto Auction. Repairs consisted of replacing the front bumper cover, hood, left & right side fenders, headlights, radiator support, left rear quarter panel(skin only) , driver & passenger side seat air bags.   Vehicle then passed the Highway Patrol Inspection which inspected the car's parts, repairs, and safety of the vehicle. The vehicle now holds a Rebuilt Title admitting it safe and legal for road use once again. Rebuilt Titled cars are registered and insured just like any other Clear Titled cars out there

WHAT DOES SALVAGE or REBUILT MEAN:

Many people are not familiar with the meaning of salvage or rebuilt title, below is a brief explanation of the Salvage terminology:
Salvage basically means that the insurance company decided not to fix the car and paid off the owner. By issuing Salvage title, Insurance Company is taking themselves out of any liability issues in the future. Does salvage means the car is totaled, not always. Sometimes the car has minor damage but the parts are very expensive. Sometimes the owner does not want to get his vehicle repaired and depending on the Insurance Company and the year of the car, Insurance will pay off the car. If the car gets stolen then Insurance has thirty days to recover the vehicle, if the car is not recovered in thirty days, Insurance pays off the owner and once the car is recovered, it is brought to the auction with Salvage title. We have had Salvage cars with door dings, Salvage theft recovery vehicles with absolutely no damage, Salvage water vehicles with absolutely no water damage. In brief Salvage does not always mean that the car was wrecked badly. However the term is primarily used for totaled cars.
You can register and drive this car just like any other car out there and also obtain Insurance on a Salvage car.

Vehicle is equipped with power steering,cruise control, power windows, power door locks,sun roof, air conditioning, cd, am/fm radio,17'  wheels, a 2.0L  4 Cylinder engine, manual  transmission, a two tone  NIGHTHAWK BLUE ( black with blue metallic ) & TAFFETA WHITE exterior, and a Black interior. Engine and transmission both run and shift problem-free. However, the ABS, and Brake light are on.  (the lights probably just need to be reset).  Even with the lights on, I have put about 100 miles on the car and the car drives just fine with them.
