A Note On Shipping...
International Orders...
TAS will conditionally ship internationally. TAS will not ship via any mode, or method that requires 4 weeks or more for an item to reach its destination. It simplifies things when your package arrives as soon as possible.
TAS's Shipping Guarantee does not apply to international orders due to additional handling of international packages, and fuel costs. We ship internationally twice a week, normally on Tuesdays, and Fridays.
In the event an item does not arrive safely, becomes damaged, or does not fit, we must recieve the item in order to process the refund. The bidder is responsible for return shipping, and also TAS does not refund customs fees, shipping, or taxes applied by your country.
Please feel free to email any questions, or concerns in regards to this policy prior to your bid, or purchase.
United State's Bidders
US Bidders Please Be advised that on larger, or multiple auctions your package may be sent Via FedEx Ground due to better Tracking, and as a rule Lower Rates, therefore TAS may require a contact Phone Number to put on the Shipping Label...As a rule, TAS ships within 2 business days after we recieve your payment, except for in extreme cases with seriously large items that may require one or two additional days for crating..
If You Are Concerned...Please feel free to let us know you would like insurance on your item...We do not apply it automatically in most cases...
Payment Requirements...We do require Buyers to Contact us within 3 Calendar days after the auctions end, unless you know you will be away after the auctions end, and unable to meet the deadline, and at that time a note prior to the auctions end would be greatly appreciated...
TAS Bio...
TAS is a Family Owned and Operated Business organized in the early 90's as a hobby grew out of hand, and shops for Vintage Bikes began to be harder to find, as well as parts...
In general, we are not a Salvage Yard, or Dismantler, the parts that reach ebay are usually left overs from projects, or items that we've had trouble finding ourselves and we decided to offer them here.
If Its Listed Here, There's Nearly a One~Hundred Percent Chance That We've Used it Ourselves..
We repair, as well as restore the stuff that makes bigger shops turn away, and we also, due to a low overhead, and a old fashioned work ethic, do work for not only less money, but also with a personal touch that's not happening at the bigger shops anymore...We don't work on bikes because we have to...We do it because we want to, and the day we don't like what we do, is the day we close, and with the people that cross our paths everyday, this shop will be running for a good long while!
Drop Us A Line Anytime!...We don't care if you're bidding on our stuff or not, we enjoy the stories, and the pictures, and Bike Jabber is always free, and welcome here!
...Thanks a Ton!
