What is CNG???

Compressed Natural Gas or CNG, is one of nature's best untapped energy sources.  Unlike fossil fuels, it is constantly produced by the earth and can also me synthesized through chemical processes.  Cyber_lot. The technology has been around for decades but until recently has been kept in the closet by big oil!  It is one of the fastest growing alernative fuel sources and unlike biodiesel and ethanol (E85), is a viable replacement for pertroleum.  Within the next 10 years 90% of gov't fleets will be CNG and civilian population will follow over the next 20 yrs.

Condition

Drivetrain

Engine starts right up and runs strong as you would expect with only 24k.  NO knocking, NO smoking, NO oil leaks.  Transmission shifts into all gears and through them smoothly.  Has proper acceleration and cruises nicely on the highway.  These VTEC engines are the best that Honda built and this dedicated CNG one should easily last 500k miles.  Has new spark plug wires, new platinum plugs, new air filter, and oil has just been changed.   

Exterior     

Paint has all of its shine and glistens in the sun.  As you can see from the pics, it's a nice specimen for being a fleet vehicle.  There are some minor blemishes here and there.  The right side of the hood and fender edge has a small dent/scuff (see pic).  There are a few nicks in the bumper but car is very straight.  It's not showroom but it's very decent for a 10 year old service vehicle.   

Interior

Overall very good condition.  NO curling or cracks on dashboard.  Fresh and clean.  NO rips or tears in carpets or seats.  Dashboard is not drilled into.  Has cold A/C, power windows, power locks, power mirrors, cruise control, AM/FM.  Has been professionally detailed.          

Wheels and Tires

·  Tires have about 80%+ tread remaining.  Has full set of factory Honda alloy wheels.   

CNG System

CNG system works.  I have filled up the tank 2 times.  Starts up easily on CNG and runs smooth.  Cylinder has been 3yr/36,000 mi safety inspected.  Manufacturer certified until 2013.

I do advise that long distance buyers use a transport service to move vehicle rather than drive due to the availability of CNG stations in some states and the sheer cost involved in driving cross country.  As I recommend to all my customers, you should have your mechanic look over any newly purchased vehicle before extensive use.  I have tried to list as many details about this vehicle as I can, including known defects.  There may be deficiencies that I am not aware of so buyers are encouraged to inspect in person.  Vehicle is otherwise sold as-is and where is with no warranty express of implied.  If you are local I encourage and welcome you to come down and test drive the car for yourself.  I am happy to answer any questions so feel free to e-mail me or call me (Seth/631.871.3459).

A non-refundable deposit in the amount of $250.00 must be made via PayPal within 24 hrs of auction's close.  Balance to be paid within 3 days via certified/cashier's check from a verifiable institution, US postal money order (no other's will be accepted due to counterfeit MO's going around), or cash (in person only, DO NOT mail cash).  A document fee of $100.00 will be added to the winning bid price.  If you require documents to be mailed please add $17.50 to final price for overnight service.   I can issue you a temporary 30-day plate for a $50 fee if you wish to transport car.  Item must be picked up within 5 days of auction's close unless other arrangements are made.  If not, buyer agrees to pay $20/day storage.  Sorry but I can not have vehicles sitting here for weeks or months.  IF DEPOSIT IS NOT RECEIVED WITHIN 24 HRS OR PAYMENT IS NOT RECEIVED WITHIN 3 DAYS, VEHICLE WILL BE RELISTED OR SOLD TO NEXT BIDDER.  Cyber_lot.

Shipping

Shipping is at the expense and responsibility of the winning bidder.  If you require long distance shipping I am happy to help make arrangements for you.  Shipping is about $700 to UT and most of the Southwest.  Southeast is about $500 and to the west coast is about $800.  For overseas buyers, vehicle can be brought to the Port of Newark for a fee.  Vehicle is located in Medford, NY (Long Island Area).  Cyber_lot.
