PICKING UP YOUR VEHICLE
Make a trip of it! We are just 30 minutes from Washington D.C. and you can find many great things to do here. We have some of the best restaurants and entertainment. Of course we have a bunch of exciting Museums such as the Smithsonians. I recommend taking a tour on The D.C. Trolley which lets you on and off of the Trolleys at various attractions throughout D.C..

FLYING IN!
We will provide complimentary transportation from Dulles International, which is just 10-15 minutes away. The Airport Code is IAD.

ONE WAY RENTAL
For a one-way rental car I recommend Avis Rent a Car: Dulles VA because it is the closest one way rental to us. Call 703 421-1974. Otherwise you can find most of the major car rentals companies at Dulles International Airport. Of course, I'll gladly pick you up from there.

WARRANTY (pre-owned)
All pre-owned vehicles except for vehicles stated AS IS will come with our standard 30-day 1000-mile limited powertrain warranty. Certified vehicles and existing manufacture's warranties supersede our pre-owned vehicle warranty. Additional warranties are available on most vehicles. The standard 30-day warranty is a 50/50 warranty (50% parts and 50% labor). An original receipt for work performed will be required.

PURCHASE AGREEMENT
Bidding on this vehicle obligates you to a legal and binding purchase contract on this vehicle. If you are the high bidder, we expect you to fulfill your commitment to purchase. Koons Sterling Ford reserves the right to cancel any bids and to close this auction in the event that it is no longer available. We cannot hold the vehicle for eBay only until the reserve has been met. We often will end the auction early to the highest bidder once the reserve has been met.

PAYMENT TERMS & BALANCE DUE
Winning bidder needs to contact Matt Newman by phone or email within 2 business days to make arrangements to complete the transaction. Winning bidder agrees to pay balance due within 7 business days of auction close. We will consider exceptions depending on the situation. We are flexible with funding options to include certified checks, cashiers check, certified funds, 3rd party financing, or financing through our Financing department (inquire about getting a pre-approval). All funds must be in U.S. Currency. Please call or email us with any questions regarding financing of this vehicle.

FEES & TAXES
VA sales tax is 3%. Customers who are not registering their vehicle in VA will not pay any VA state tax. If you are registering in another state you will be responsible for your own state sales tax. If you prefer, we can handle the tax, tag and title work for most of the states in the U.S. Cash buyers, may be required to take care of their own tax and tag work. There will be a $389 processing fee on all vehicles sold, as well as a 00.17% (example price of $10,000 = $17 or $20,000 = $34) Loudon county business tax included in the final sale price. Registration and title will vary dependant on state. I can send you the exact figures up front.

INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS (Pre-owned Vehicles Only)
We welcome international buyer's and are happy to assist in the purchase process. We can and will only sell pre-owned vehicles to non-U.S. buyers. We are not required to collect any VA state tax but the small local county tax and processing fee still applies. We do provide 30-day temporary tags for Canadian purchases ($12 temp tag fee). We have drivers on hand that can deliver the vehicle to a Port in Baltimore Maryland or Norfolk Virginia for $200. We can also have it driven to Exporters/Ports in New Jersey for $300. Any other ports, please call me to work out details. We are familiar with Canadian requirements regarding recall letters but can only guaranty that all recalls will be performed on any Ford vehicle and we will provide the recall clearance letter. We payoff any liens when we trade a vehicle. Therefore our vehicles are clear titles free of all liens. We usually will have the title in hand before advertising but because we deal with U.S. customers typically, we don't always have the title in hand.
