I recently bought a Honda Civic mk8 (2006) stereo has an "aux" function but nowhere to actually plug anything into it, this adapter allowed me to do just that. There were two listed, this one says it's for a Honda Accord, however, the product code for the adapter is the same for the Accord as it is for the Civic, the price was lower for the Accord adapter. The build quality is reasonable, I have mine tucked away under the gearstick assembly so it's out of sight. It is quite bulky but with a bit of thought it can be hidden, I can't see the point of it being on display unless you want to regularly unplug it? I have an "Aukey" Bluetooth adapter plugged into the 3.5mm jack so I can use my phone without trailing cables across my car. The sound quality is fine, unfortunately the speakers in my car are not the best quality, but the music from my phone sounds better than the radio. This device is very useful, I do think it's a little bit expensive for what it does, yes I can connect anything with a 3.5mm port but that's it, there are no controls from the steering wheel or the stereo itself, other than volume. Considering all the components within the adapter box (yes I opened it up to see what was inside) I would have liked it to offer more control. I would recommend it, but shop around, there could be a bargain to be had.Read full review

Got the connect 2 today and had it up and running in an hour, go to YouTube to find out what you need to take off to get at the cd unit, the sound quality is good and now I can free up some space taken up by cds!

This adapter plugs into the cd changer port and gives aux in capability selectable form the original controls on Honda FRV head unit. Very good quality product and sound. Have used same product on Toyota Previa with excellent results. The only difficult part is getting access to the back of the head units (much harder on the FRV!)

For some reason some cars with oem stock stereo have been made without AUX ports on them. I couldn't believe my 2008 Honda civic mk8 did not come with an AUX, despite having an AUX button listed on front of the stereo. With this this Connects2device that plugs into the back of the stereo's cd changer port, i'm able to enjoy the features of AUX again allowing me to plug my ipod, mobile phone or any other mp3 player/device that has an headphone jack.
