The unique, proprietary and copyrighted programming built into our RapTorq ECM is the result of 18 months of a specific Predator Motorsports H1 Performance development team.
The research phase of the RapTorq development included a full evaluation of all available ECM programming by our competitors. Our primary goal in this program was to create superior drivability and maximum power within the GM-prescribed exhaust-gas temperature limit.
While it remains standard practice by our competitor to use only a modified, factory GM fuel-delivery curve, our RapTorq features a completely new fuel curve used in conjunction with a new start-of-injection timing curve. These are coordinated to optimize the design characteristics of the H1’s combustion chamber, providing peak efficiency and rapid power gains across the engine's entire operational range.
The RapTorq programming provides rapid throttle response, crisp light-throttle performance and strong heavy-to-full throttle power. Fuel economy is improved through all operational conditions on an average of 10-20%. Power is increased by 102hp and 156ft/lbs of torque when accompanied with our exhaust system, giving you Rapid Torque and Horsepower gains.
RapBoost
RapBoost Turbo Boost Control
RapBoost is a naturally suited mate to our RapTorq ECM programming or a fully stock H1 and is designed to compliment the operational characteristics of the factory turbo.
The RapBoost is a purely mechanical, fully adjustable waste gate controller, designed to be a direct, bolt-on replacement for the factory boost control canister used on H1 turbocharger.
The RapBoost combines with the factory waste gate valve mechanism to create a smooth and rapid working, turbine inlet-pressure relief valve. This type of control allows retention of all available turbine drive pressure up to the predetermined pressure bypass point, providing maximum turbocharger performance along with effective shaft-speed / boost control. Characteristic of the RapBoost design is its easy installation and simple calibration. Adds approximately 21 hp and 27 ft/lbs to the H1 6.5 engine.
RapFlow
RapFlow High Performance Fuel Lifter Pump
RapFlow Fuel Lifter Pump is suited perfectly for the high demands of the H1 Hummer where rapid fuel flow, strength and relibility are paramount.
The RapFlow is designed to be a direct, bolt-on replacement for the factory low quality lifter pump that is prone to unreliable and low pressure fuel flow. Often times we find with age and the addition of performance upgrades the factory fuel pump begins to break down and or cannot produce the fuel pressure the truck needs to sustain a reliable life cycle. Ever wonder why your buddys H1 runs much cleaner and crisper then yours? The stock lifter pump and stock PMD can often be the cause. Please also see RapCool for improved reliability. We also offer a Performance Fuel Pressure Test Kit to determine if you are recieving adequete fuel pressure. We recomend checking fuel pressure on a stock lifter pump every 6 months or 6,000 miles.
Air Filter
The K&N air filter will decrease the air restriction while increasing your filtering capacity, resulting in more horsepower and less engine contamination. All our air filters include a recharging kit to keep your air filter fresh and new.
Equalizer
Equalizer Head Cooling System rapidly Cools and Equalizes the heads and block for improved and equal engine cooling and longevity. The Equalizer Head Cooling system is designed to correct the poor coolant flow condition that exists in the 6.5 Hummer which is the cause of the majority of engine failures. Poor coolant flow through the block and heads causes extremely high operating temperatures in the rear portion of the block and central to rear portions of the cyl heads. These unequal temperatures create undue heat-stress conditions that lead to cracking cylinder walls. By creating proper coolant flow through the block and heads, the Equalizer system eliminates localized high temperature areas reducing heat-stress in these castings to help prevent cracking and breaking. Each system includes a patented perportioning valve which eaqualizes head pressure for even cooling and a new coolent crossover manifold for proper coolent flow. The Equalizer system is vital to a reliable long lasting engine.
RapJet
RapJet High Performance Injector Set
We are proud to offer the only High Performance Fuel Injector Set for the 6.5TD Hummer and HMMWV. Engineered to give your Hummer the correct amount of fuel for both stock H1's and H1's equipped with our legendary RapTorq Performance ECM.
The RapJet Injector Set provides rapid throttle response, crisp light-throttle performance and stronger heavy-to-full throttle power. Power is increased by 32hp and 47ft/lbs of torque giving you Rapid Horsepower gains. Each RapJet set includes an installation kit for a trouble free install.
There will be an additional core charge of $300 that will be reimbursed when your original injector set is returned to us.
Exhaust
The Predator 5" Performance KORE Exhaust System is a full, high performance
system that replaces the restrictive stock muffler and tail pipe. The system is constructed from tough stainless steel and Ceramic Coated in black for the ultimate in Performance, Durability and Heat Insulation. The Black Ceramic Coating retains heat in the exhaust system reducing radiant and under hood temperatures as well as a slight increase in performance over our non coated exhaust
Off Road Pipe
The Off-Road Pipe removes your catalytic converter for off-road and testing purposes only. The off road pipe will generate approximately 10 hp and 15 ft/lbs.
RapCool
The RapCool PMD Isolator system was created to end the drivability / reliability issues associated with the factory, injection pump-mount location of the PMD (Pump Mounted Driver).To end these various drivability and reliability problems, our PMD Isolator system remotely mounts the PMD completely outside the engine compartment and away from engine heat and vibration and is incorporated into a high performance heat sink.
The RapCool PMD Isolator system features a new, Stanodyne PMD, which is treated to a mount-face resurfacing and transistor- fastener re-torque prior to its assembly onto the Isolator plate. Assembly to the Isolator plate is made using a special epoxy along with the 4 mount screws. This process assures a thorough transfer of heat from the PMD and into the Isolator plate/Heat Sink, to provide long service life. The Stanodyne # 7 fuel calibration resistor is used in this upgrade and is provided as a part of the assembly.
