This CD includes scans of the '38-1964 Chevrolet illustrated chassis (mechanical) and body parts catalogs. This CD shows part numbers and illustrations of the Chevy parts available in the sixties when the books were printed. You will find illustrations and the original part numbers, which are still useful today because most parts vendors still use GM's numbers to keep track of their parts. Use this CD to make your search for parts both quicker and easier. The illustrations will help you to identify parts, and the exploded views can aid you with assembly or disassembly of some parts of the vehicle. Covers engine, clutch , cooling system, grille, oil system, chassis, electrical, fuel, exhaust, carburetion, transmission, brakes, axles, steering, frame, springs, bumper, sheet metal, hear, air conditioning, instruments, and body. You can identify if the parts you are buying are original and complete; if you're missing parts, you can use the CD to see what you should have. If the same part number is used for more than one year, you can also find out interchange between the different years and models covered on the CD. The books on the CD show the parts available when the books were originally printed, it has good coverage of 1953-1964 Corvettes, 1958-1964 half ton, three quarter ton, and one ton pickups and trucks, and 1957-1964 cars, including 150, 210, Biscayne, Bel Air, Impala, Super Sport, Del Ray, Wagons, Nomad, Sedan Delivery, and 1959-1960 El Camino.
