2001 Indian Chief Centennial with matching custom-built sidecar
For sale is my beautiful Indian sidecar rig. I am the second owner of the bike and I purchased it with the intention of adding a sidecar & turning it into the incredible machine you see here. No expense has been spared - this sidecar outfit is the most visually stunning example that you will ever see (photo's do not do the bike justice!). There is over $45K invested in producing this rig, and it shows from every angle.
I have used the bike mainly for shows/poker runs/local events and it is ALWAYS the center of attention - an absolute SHOW-STOPPER! Recently awarded**BEST IN SHOW**at this years Big-Bear:Ride-the-Mountain event. It has been widely photographed & was featured in a National advertising campaign for a clothing company a couple of years ago. This bike draws admiring looks & comments from ALL bike-riders; I have attended a few Sport-Bike events and this bike is STILL the main deal. At this years' Las Vegas Bikefest , this bike was drawing a bigger crowd then some of the so-called "celebrity" custom bikes on display (some costing $100K+)....
Details: Sidecar was custom built and mounted by Champion Sidecars of Huntington Beach. The key phrase here is "mounted". Many sidecar manufacturers simply ship their product to the customer and there is a lack of quality control when the rig is assembled. I shipped the bike to Champion and they created custom mounts and professionally installed and set up the rig before I picked it up. Every option has been added to the sidecar including: folding chrome sidestep, custom chrome driving lamp, lap-belt, cigarette lighter/auxiliary socket, Indian Head accent light, chrome spoke wheels with matching whitewall tire, fully carpeted interior, tonneau cover and matching paint scheme. Also added is a chrome steering dampener - this is an essential piece of hardware for a rig of this size and greatly improves the handling of the bike. Finally, the sidecar comes equipped with a linked disc-brake - an absolute MUST HAVE. The rear brake of the bike is linked to the disc brake of the sidecar which creates a very stable and confidence-inspiring ride. NOTE; the sidecar has a quick-release option and can be disconnected in about 45 minutes, however I have never taken the sidecar off after it was installed.
Extras: It has taken me almost FIVE painstaking years to source a lot of these items; They are rare, expensive!, and give the bike its unique show-quality finish which cannot be duplicated... Spyke Ignition Sissy-bar & backrest Chrome rear dresser-bars Chrome arrow-head

The bike has less than 5000 miles since new and only 2000 miles of those since the sidecar was added. The bike is serviced regularly (with the sidecar attached) and the rear tire is only 1500 miles *NEW*. It is a Centennial edition Chief, and is #116 of only 250 produced. This is a rare bike which has been made even more unique with the addition of the sidecar - this is truly a one-of-a-kind combination. When Indian produced these bikes, they fitted high quality parts throughout and powered it with an 88cu S&S engine, which is bullet-proof and pulls like a freight train! I built this bike with the intention of riding it, however this rig would not look out of place on the concourse of any motorcycle show - it is 99.9% perfect in every way! There is a small inclusion on the right side of the tank, see photo, & a couple of minor abrasions from normal riding. Nothing that detracts from the outstanding beauty of this machine.
