Vehicle Description

This totally refurbished prime example of the 1940's motorcycle has a completely remanufactured BONNEVILLE ENGINE. (INCLUDING BONNY POP UP PISTONS, CAMS AND, CAN YOU BELIEVE, A REAL BONNY CARB) Has had every part replaced except the case (block) and BONNY heads. The Chief has only adjustment and break in miles and should read appox 150 miles on delivery. It is a very early serial number and FRAME AND ENGINE MATCH.

TRANNY Completely overhauled with ALL NEW GEARS The tranny case is original.

BRAKES, CLUTCH, WHEELS, TIRES, PRIMARY AND DRIVE CHAINS, PLUNGERS, FORK, ALL BEARINGS AND BATTERY ARE NEW OR REMANUFACTURED. THE EXHAUST IS STAIN LESS STEEL WHICH WILL NOT TURN BLUE BLACK.

THIS IS A RIDER NOT A HIDER IT HAS AN ELECTRIC STARTER WITH A 12 VOLT SYSTEM. ALL YOU OLD GUYS, LIKE ME, NO MORE KICKING JUST PUSH THE BUTTON.

The SIDE CAR is the correct serial number for this year bike. It also has been totally refurbished. The seat and side panels are CHESTNUT LEATHER WHICH MATCHES THE BIKE'S SADDLE. Removal of the side car is simple, 3 bolts and a cotter key.

This bike, even up close, looks as the original, but has been brought up to modern spec's. Assembly hardware is 99% chrome which will not rust. Polly Urethane pait in sunshine yellow and pearl white with clear top coats make it very shiny. THIS IS NOT YOUR GRANDFATHERS INDIAN.
