JDM of Miami has up for sale a JDM TOYOTA 2L-TE Inline 4 cyl, 2.4L, SOHC, Turbo Diesel Engine with 4x4 5spd Manual Transmission and ECU all in great conditions (see pictures below.)
Developed as a new version of 2L-T, the 2L-TE features a new development used in Dieselengines at that time, the EFI(Electronic Fuel Injection) system. Although Toyota used this fuel injection system in gasoline engines years before, this is among the first Dieselengines to adopt such a system. Although the basic construction is similar to a modern gasoline injector, the EFI system in 2L-TE utilize considerably higher injection pressures. The EFI system meter fuel with great precision and succeeded in increasing the engine's efficiency. Like the 2L-T , it is 2.4L (2446cc) and it is a SOHC (Single Overhead Cam) engine, having 8 valves. It also comes with a Turbo charger. The bore is 92 mm and stroke is also 92 mm. Due to the EFI system, the 2L-TE is stronger than 2L-T, having maximum output of 97HP (72.3kW) at 4000 RPM and maximum torque is 24.54kg.m at 2400 RPM. Redline of this engine is at 4800 RPM. Compression ratio is 21.0:1, slightly higher than 2L-T.

What our warranty COVERS:
All internal engine parts including pistons, piston rings, piston pins, crankshafts and main bearing, connecting rods and rod bearings, camshafts and camshaft bearings, timing chains and gears, intake and exhaust valves, springs, seals and guides, oil pumps, and push rods. The engines block, cylinder barrels and cylinder head are also warranted to be free of cracks or distortion.In the event of a defective engine block or head, we will be responsible to replace or fix the defective part, at our discretion.
What parts and circumstances our warranty DOES NOT COVER:
OUR WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER EXTERNAL PARTS.All external parts attached to the engine, e. g. turbochargers, superchargers, intake and exhaust manifolds, carburetor, distributor, alternator, starter, emission control devices, flywheel, clutch and pressure plate, water pump, thermostat, belts, hoses, timing belt, timing chain, pulleys, oil pan, etc.All labor must be done by a certified ASE technician.Warranty will not cover any engine or parts that are found to have been overheated or show any signs of damage due to improper or unqualified installation procedures.It will also not cover the loss of engine, if the engine is red-lined or competitively raced. Loss caused by modification or forced induction (NOS, Turbo, Supercharger) for which the engine was not designed. JDM of Miami is not responsible if the engine purchased does not fit into your vehicle. Before purchasing the engine, verify that the engine will fit into your vehicle. The warranty does not cover any labor charges whatsoever for any reason; nor does it cover towing, car rental, or any other incidental charges. We are not responsible for the failure of emissions and smog tests.Make sure the engine is not open; if the engine is open the warranty will be voided.

The customer is responsible for checking the engine/transmission for shipping damage and missing items while the truck driver is still there. We are not responsible for damage caused by shipping.
In the unlikely event that an engine or transmission is defective, the customer can return the item within their warranty time. All original packaging including the paper work must be returned. Shipping and handling fees are not refundable. Buyers are responsible for all (both ways) shipping costs. Once received, our ASE Certified mechanic will inspect engines/transmissions to ensure unqualified mechanic or improper installation and/or improper use did not cause damage. Engine/transmission will also be checked to ensure product matches the serial # and that our product comes with all the accessories it was shipped with. Our product should be returned to us the way we sent it to you.
JDM of Miami assumes no liability for any damages or injury due to the use and/or installation of our engines,transmissions or any other part. Only a trained and certified ASE mechanic should do installation of engines, transmissions, or parts.
