The Fuse Block has a solid polycarbonate base so it will not crack when screwed down or from vibrations. The Brass terminal blocks each rotate to five different positions for many different installation possibilities. The fuse is held in by knurled and slotted set screws to insure the fuse will not vibrate lose and insure a good connection. The fuse block has a clear polycarbonate cover that protects against short circuits and adds a nice professional look. Fuse block is made to accept 8 AWG wire. . AFS fuse in not included so you can get the proper one for your installation.  JL Audio makes high quality professional products and this fuse holder is no different
