I am offering my 1968 Jaguar xke 2+2 coupe for sale. This car has been owned by me for 17 years,always running,driven as antique,registered & insured. Previous original owner had the car fully restored in 1988 with all documents that i have,stripped,repainted,black leather interior,wire wheels, etc. The paint is holding up well with very few flaws, no nicks or dents, bottom of doors have a small spot on each that you may not see in photos,the chrome &trim is original & in good shape. As you can see the body is very straight and paint gives a great reflection,never hit or in any accidents.Overall condition is above very good, not show. The drivetrain is the original 4.2 six cylinder with auto trans,LOW MILES, 74,440. Runs excellent, i drive on the highway and the car is smooth,at 95- 100 m.p.h. is the max. i have taken her with out any problems, just a fear of tickets.Dealer installed seatbelts with the jaguar logos were ordered when new. The car does not have the original carbs,the original owner installed dual weber downdrafts.There are not any problems or issues with this car, always garaged,could use original style antennae and door mirrors that are aftermarket, i am giving a honest description as best i can,please call me 1-508-245-4588 with questions. All gauges,tach,speedo,lights,wipers,heater etc. work, oil prs. is good. The clock needs a battery. Brake system is all new at time of restoration, rotors,pads,master cyl. and booster. the motor purrs and is docile at idle, likes to get up and go . A very enjoyable car that will bring the owner pleasure and be a sound investment also. This car will have a below value reserve, anyone bidding will get a nice car for the price.
