The buyer will have to register it in his state of residence, which may or may not involve some extra steps compared to registering a clean title car. California Buyer must pay 8.75% sales tax and will receive a Acquisition Bill Of Sale. All buyers who plan to pick up the car in person ( NOT by car hauler) must pay tax.
