This 1979 Jeep CJ7 in a Harley Theme is one of the latest cool creations from Reasonable Rides and Rods.  We started with a rust-free Arizona Jeep and transformed it into what you see here.  This Jeep was already a solid vehicle with several modifications.  The previous owner had installed a 2 inch lift and high performance shocks, so the foundation was good.  First, we sent it out and had the tub treated with Line-X in black.  The Jeep was then sent to the paint shop where the Harley Davidson Orange paint with satin black stripes was applied.  The paint on this Jeep is stunning and the stripes and decals look great.  All exterior lights and lenses were replaced when it was painted.  We then added a set of 16x8 Pro Comp Xtreme black wheels and 285/75-16 BF Goodrich All Terrain TA Radials.  New bumpers, tubular step rails, Bestop tube doors, and a bikini top finish out the exterior.  Moving to the inside, we installed new front and rear black vinyl Rugged Ridge seats.  These seats are very comfortable and functional.  For added safety, all new front and rear seat belts were installed.  The roll bar was stripped and painted with a fresh coat of black paint as well as the dash and windshield frame.  A new dash pad, new knobs and a custom Grant steering wheel finished out the interior.  The only thing left to do is install a sound system.  Often, we let the new owner install their own system since personal choice is always a consideration with sound systems.  The engine is the original 258 6 cylinder and runs like a champ.  The exhaust has been upgraded with a header and performance muffler.  The rest of the engine is basically stock and starts immediately and does not leak, smoke or make any wierd noises.  The automatic transmission and quadratrac system works great and shifts as it should.  The entire vehicle is mechanically sound.  Equipped with power steering and power brakes, this Jeep is a great driver.  Everything works on this vehicle.  The only top and doors are the ones installed on this Jeep.  This is a great time of year to own a Jeep and this is one is a real eye catcher.  Get in and drive!
