You are bidding on 1976 CJ 5, 8 Cyl, 4WD, power steering and brakes. This is a good solid car. Starts everytime and is a daily driver. I have had this car about 10 years. It is lifted and the shocks are air adjustable. It also has a tow bar so you can tow it and a hitch on the back. Tires are very good and 31 inches. The engine is original and has all the smog stuff on it so you can get it inspected (then you can take it off). The body has a few problems as you can see in the pictures. There are bubbles under each door ( the usual place) and under the spare tire which is mounted on the back. The other body problem is that floors on both sides will need to be replaced or have pieces welded in...I have included pictures. The transmission and 4WD work fine. It has a new battery annd will have a new rear brake line (just sprung a leak and will be repaired in a day or so.) I will have an entire set of stainless steel lines for you if you want to replace them all. I also have 2 brand new steps - see picture. The top is Best Top with no rips or repairs. The rear window is fogged. Front seats have rips...they are orginal. The side curtains and doors are fine. If you are looking for a car that will be a hoot to drive with a little work this is the one. Please contact me with all your questions amd I will answer them as best I can...better yet fell free to come and look at it. We are in Montgomery Co. MD near Olney. I want to be sure you know wnat you are getting. Why am I selling it? I just got a 51 Willys pick up and the chief financial officer says something has to go...I guess that could mean me or the car!
