This Jeep Cherokee Chief 2 door. Jeep has been well taken care of and has had recent parts added such as timing chain and gears, axel bearings and new brakes.

• seats in back are orig. and front ones are in good condition, tear under one of the arm rests. the front two seats are not orig. but they are in great shape and match. they have a large zipper pocket on the back of each front seat and fold down arms, very comfortable for long rides.

The story......

I Bought the Jeep for hunting with my son but we rarely used it. It has a solid body and would be real good for fix up project, rock crawling, 4 wheel drive riding, hunting or just for fun and this is why I bought it and it's why my brother (who i got it from) bought it.

The Jeep Does have some surface rust but no rot out, it does have a crack in the windshield but I've got another one that I bought for it that I'll give you, the seats have old stains and there's probably some dirt underneath on the frame but it's still in very good shape, its been respected and not run hard and it still runs perfectly. This Jeep is NOT new, it is used it is a 1979 model!!!!.... It's been well cared for but it is still 30 years old.

I  drove it for a while yesterday and I remembered how well it actually does run and what an excellent deal it is that I'm asking for it, so it will not be sold less than what I have it listed for or I'll keep it. It's more than well worth what I'm asking.

It's not meant to be a show car, it is a man's jeep. I bought it to hunt with or just to run around in the woods with but it would be fine to drive as an everyday vehicle too. It's a great ride, it doesn't have to be pretty. I take care of all of my vehicles as far as maintenance and utility and power but i'm not real concerned with old stains on the seats as some responses have asked??...My son and I have taken care of the Jeep, he's growing up and not real interested in it and I just don't have the time, so like I said, it runs like a dream and I'm real proud of what I'm selling here, I'm not trying to make it out to be something it's not. Its a Jeep-- Johnny.
