1989 Jeep Comanche Eliminator Short Bed Pick-Up
218,000 miles, A/C, P/S, P/B, Tilt wheel, 5 Speed 2 WD
I bought this truck June of 93' with 69,000 mi. and drove it up to 218,000mi. Parked it for 4 or 5 years ago and stopped driving it because the hydraulic throw-out bearing starting leaking. The Truck has not been driven since. It hasn't been started for a long time-2 years or so. Last weekend 10/24/09 with very little work I got it started. Engine was very quiet and so smooth, just the way I remembered it, and there was not even a puff of smoke. And with no surprise to me the A/C still works fine. The tach and all gauges still seem to be working fine also. The drivers door glass has always been sticky since I've had it. I have a brand new in the box regulator for it which I am inclueding with the purchase of this truck. Please note in the pictures that the roof has 2 dents in it from a tree limb that fell a few years ago. Also not pictured is the OEM center caps that came with the eliminator wheels, along with both left and right kick panels , and lower dash trim, and the molding for around the windshield. This truck is all original with no paint or body work done to it, ther is no rust in the body at all. All the letters and stripes are gone from power washng it in the past.
Note: Pull the trans replace the throw-out bearing, check the brakes-belts-hoses and drive it as a 5 speed 2WD or for free of charge with purchase of truck, my 1989 black jeep cherokee, 4x4 auto trans, with 189,000 miles. Turn this pick-up into a 4x4 auto trans with no money just labor. Note: You do not have to take the cherokee, just throwing that in for parts anyway.
