Up for auction with no reserve price is our 1988 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. It has an automatic transmission and a 360 engine, which is pretty standard for these Jeeps. It is a 4 wheel drive and its an awesome SUV! We love this Wagoneer but as many of you probably know they don't get the best gas mileage. We have had this as our daily driver for quite some time but just recently bought two vehicles that get better gas mileage. We really don't need it anymore and are looking to buy a more fuel efficient 4X4. This is a 5 day auction and absolutely no reserve price, so the highest bidder wins regardless of the price. I will do my best to describe this vehicle but I ask you really look over the pics and ask as many questions as you like because I want you to be comfortable with bidding on our car.
Note: I am selling to the highest bidder, this is a no reserve auction and it is an “as is” sale, there are no refunds or returns and the sale is final after the auction ends. I will not receive payment from a third party or transfer funds from one party to the next and I ask that if you have zero feedback or if you live outside the United States that you email me first, just so I know you are for real and that you realize your bid is a legal binding contract. Thank you!
Vehicle Condition:
The Grand Wagoneer runs really good and starts every time! I have always owned older vehicles and in my opinion this is a great running vehicle... sure it may need a little tinkering here and there and I am sure it is due for a full service tune up but yet I would have no problem hoping in it and driving to California tomorrow (other than what it would cost me in gas). Occasionally the engine ticks a little bit... not sure if its a lifter or exhaust manifold... but just want the new owner to be aware of that. Transmission works good and the 4 wheel drive works well too. There are no major problems but with an older vehicle like this, it seems like there are always little things. I will do my best to list all of these issues but again nothing major or anything that effects the drivability of the Jeep. The headliner is sagging a little, I think the fog lights don't work or are not hooked up, the radio works but has some static, the rear window works from the dash switch but not from the key actuator in the rear, interior is decent but could really use new carpet, seatbelts are in tact but the driver's belt doesn't like the connector very well and I often use the connector for the middle seatbelt, it has a couple black rub marks and a small dent or two (all shown in pics), the paint is fading ins spots and the clear coat peeling, but being an old rugged Jeep it doesn’t look bad and that is about all I can think of as far as issues go. Please just look over all the pics and you will see what a nice solid rig this is! Please note… I am not a mechanic but in my opinion it really does drive nice and I really have been using it for a daily driver so I have no fears of driving it a great distance.
