These Joe Rocket pants are an outstanding value. They are comfortable and  stylish and offer you both cool comfort and abrasion protection and armored knees.  They are not bulky and can either be worn as pants or overpants. 

If you wanted to have one pair of pants to have for year-round riding, these are probably the best product available.  With the liner removed and zip-off panels stowed, you have comfort and protection in the 70-90 degree range.

Install the panels and the removable water/windproof inner liner and you keep dry and warm in the lower temperatures or rain.

I have owned and used most the the Joe Rocket pants line; these are my favorites.  In the past 5 months, I've used these in dry and wet condtions from the 40's to mid 90's temperatures.  When it is cold, I wear long pants below these.  From 70 up, I wear shorts beneath.
