The Kawasaki KFX400 engine utilizes a “dry sump” design, shortening overall engine height so it can be placed lower in the chassis for enhanced stability while providing higher ground clearance. To take advantage of this unique design, we designed a pipe in each exhaust series. We noticed a 7% increase in horse power with the Sport Series Slip on and a 16% increase with the full system. 

HMF Sport Series: The HMF Sport Series is specifically designed for sport machines and delivers the most horsepower & torque per dollar of any series. It was specifically designed to deliver maximum power gains throughout the RPM range. If you need to run quiet from time to time, the Sport Series accepts the optional HMF Quiet Core.
