Vehicle Description

This is a Kawasaki Drag bike, It started life as a KZ 1000 and we will go from there,

The Frame has been raked and dials at 30 degree on the forks while on the ground. The frame has also been back halfed and all frame work is very profesional. (tigged). The swingarm is 6 inches longer than stock and also has a crankcase breather/ puke tank built into it. The body is a body is a FRP one peice in ZX10 ninja form, The front fearing and fender are stock ZX10. The rear swingarm is 6 inches over, Total wheel base from center axle to center axle is 68 inches.

The front wheel is stock KZ1000 and the rear is a 5.5 Akront with race hub, Race sprocket and race rotor.The front brake is stock and the rear is a Performance machine 4 piston, All brakes have just been gone thru and the brake lines are new braided stainless steel custom made.

The motor is a 1428 with Wiseco bigblock kit, It has 14 to 1 pistons and is holding 300psi of compression at this time. It is running a J model head with a stage 3 port job, The crank is a Mark 2, The carbs are 40mm FBG Lectrons and all fuel lines are new , Cam is 112Ex and 110 In at 38 degrees. 1/2 Gallon polished fuel cell and pingle dual line petcock. Trans has backcut gears and a MRE lockup clutch and MRE cover. The bike is runnimg a 5/8 offset sprocket with bearing support plate. It has a APE starter plate and drive.

OK, Now for the Drag stuff,

The bike has a MSD ignition box, It has a MSD two step, A clutch rev limiter, a shift light, A MRE airshifter, A MRE adjustable stutter, The coils are Dyna and the pickup is Dyna as well. The bike also has a deadman teather kill switch. Also has a set of wheelie bars and come with the starter cart.

This bike was built in the late 90,s and has been in storage, I pulled it out and just went thru everything, New brakes, New brake lines, Tune up, New Chasis paint, all new wireing, Fresh tune, etc, etc,

I am a perfectionist, and this is a clean bike ready to go, It comes with a set of bars and the starter cart with new cables.

Ok,

I have had alot of calls and emails about the bike, Here are the answers to some of the commen questions.

The bike should have at least 220 HP easy, I dont know for sure, never dynoed!!!

You can ride it without the wheelie bars if you think you can.

It is geared and has been run in the quarter, never ran in the eighth mile, It was running low 9s and that was shiffting at 10000rpm. that is very low, most people shift this type of motor at 12000 to 12500rpms, The timing is not very aggressive as well,( The bike has been detuned) if you run some NOS or tweak the bike harder and can ride it, it should run in the 8s, The rider was about 215#s and a novice,

The bike can be run in the eighth, you are just going to have to resproket it, Go to Fast by Gast websight and you can get gearing and all other parts for these old school drag bikes, You can also see how much has been spent on this one.

This is not a beginner bike, It is a good beginner full fledge drag bike for a good rider!!!!!!! Dont be silly or you will get HURT!!!!.

Also, I have noticed alot of bidders with no feedback bidding, I know we all have to start somewhere, but please dont bid if you are not intending to pay and just like my bike, It ruins this auction for the people that are really interested in the bike and it costs me money.
