1982 Kawasaki KX

I CANNOT SHIP THIS BIKE. ALL SHIPPING ARRANGEMENTS MUST BE MADE BY THE WINNER. ONE OF MY PERSONAL RACE BIKES UP FOR AUCTION. BIKE DESCRIPTION. 1982 Kawasaki KX250 dirt bike. ITEM DESCRIPTION. You are bidding on a used KX250 dirt bike. This was my sons race bike. He is away at school (a junior). So, the bike has been sitting in a storage unit for the past three years. I figure it is time to pass this jewel on the someone who will ride this. This is a race bike. It is in very nice shape, but it is not a show bike. THE GOOD. The bike has a clear title (in my name) and the green sticker is good til June of this year. This is a nice straight bike. The motor is in good shape. The cylinder has a steel liner with a 20 over piston (i think). It's been a long time since i had the top end off. Controls are all good. The Maxxis tires are in very good shape. The rims are original and in great shape (there are some scratches and tire iron marks). Has an FMF spark arrester silencer. Chain and sprockets are good. Has a UNI air filer element. Good bar and grips. The rear shock was just serviced before i parked the bike. THE BAD. Pretty short list here. The rear fender is cracked an needs replacement. The seat cover is a few small rips (but it has been like that for years). I put epoxy on a hole in the clutch cover. SO WHAT NEEDS TO BE DONE. I put some gas in the tank and she fired up after 20-25 kicks. The carb should be cleaned and the trany oil changed. Service the air filter.  HOW AND WHEN TO PAY. I combine shipping to save you money. Please don't pay until i send you an invoice. Most of the time you will receive the invoice the night of the end of the auction. SHIPPING AND HANDLING WILL BE ADDED TO THE WINNING BID. I ship via UPS and USPS. Insurance will cost you a little extra. Delivery confirmation will be added to all domestic mailings. International bidders- if you want a tracking number, you must ask for express mail. First class and priority mail do not have tracking numbers. PAYMENT OPTIONS. I accept paypal. International bidders- i only accept paypal. Payment must be complete one week after the auction ends. Please make sure your paypal account has the correct shipping address. FEEDBACK. I will leave positive feedback after you have done so. HOW TO GET BLOCKED. Well, of course if you win and don't pay, that will get you blocked right away. If you are rude, pushy, or just acting like an a-hole, you will get blocked. Once blocked, you will never get off that list (and i have lots of good stuff). So, don't get on my bad side. If you see something you don't agree with, please ask in a civil manner, and we will get along just fine. WHAT KIND OF PARTS DO I SELL. I sell used dirt bike parts. So, most of my items are scratched, marred, you know-USED. If you want like new parts, go bid on like new parts. If one of my items is like new, i will say so. I sell used parts, so i cannot guarantee they will work. When i state they work, i know i have checked them. But, as with all used parts, who knows how long they will work. All sales are final.
