Aug 24th Update: Learned the vehicle does qualify for a "Free" timing belt change. There hasn't been a single issue with the one that is on it but many have inquired if the original one has been changed and so after doing some research with the dealer, they confirmed that the first one is absolutely free. So whomever purchases may have that service performed at any authorized Lotus dealer no cost.

DVD/CD/MP3 Player/Nav opt/Sat radio player is by Alpine, has fully functioning remote control. Amps are JL Audio, custom sub box inside cabin with a 10" woofer. Also, K40 hidden radar unit with sensors installed in the front and rear of vehicle.

Vehicles emissions control module/catalytic converters remains under factory warranty and is covered for any problems up to 80,000 miles by any authorized Lotus Dealer.

On Oct-08-09 at 08:25:38 PDT, seller added the following information:

UPDATE: Many have inquired about the reason it showed on the CarFax that vehicle didn't pass inspection, the dealer determined that the drivers side catalytic converter is bad, it is being replaced under warranty by Lotus England. Parts were out of stock so Lotus agreed to order aftermarket Cats and replace both. Dealer should have new cats in a week and will replace them both at that time. Hope that dispells any worries. Please let me know if you have questions. Car is in excellent condition, this is a minor issue that will be fixed before someone purchases.

Rev. Update: 10/29/09 New Cats are being installed today by the Lotus dealer. They are high-flo aftermarket Cats from JAE autoparts. They are lighter and sound better than the OEM ones and should even improve the vehicles performance. Bid with confidence!
