This is a 1965, chromed bumper MGB, with original splined hubs. The car was restored approximately 2 years ago, and very few miles have been put on since. The vehicle is a strong daily driver. The white paint shows well, with no visible rust or bubbling. The interior was redone in black leather, and white piping. The carpets were replaced as well. A new stereo with CD player was just installed. The canvas lined vinyl top is brand new, and the car comes with a matching tonneau cover. The motor was just rebuilt, runs strong, doesn’t smoke or leak, and is in an excellent state of tune. The rebuilt 4-speed transmission is excellent, and the clutch is new. The car has an auxiliary electric fan, oil cooler and fuel pump. She starts well and runs smoothly. The chrome is excellent, and she features working Lucas driving lights. The new tires ride on base metal wire wheels with chrome knock-offs. Brakes are fresh, and the car stops with authority. All mechanical systems work, as they should. The cost of reproducing this MGB, as is, would be in excess of $30K. The trunk has new carpets and holds a matching wire spare tire. A car cover is included with the car. These early chrome bumper MG s are the most desirable of the “B” series cars. They are a joy to drive, and give the driver the classic roadster experience. This MGB is ready to go.
