You are looking at Mini Cooper optional center console armrest. The light conditions make an armrest look greyish on these pictures but actual colour of the armrest is black.

Armrest will fit any Mini model: from 2001 to 2006

Armrest will also fit North American Mini 2007 (convertible models only)

It is very easy to install.
No special tool required.
It comes with fitting kit and instructions.
It opens for carpeted storage, and folds out off the way if not needed.
Has a padded, lift-up lid covered with ecological leather.
