If you have a love for Italian automobiles, especially the Maserati Quattroporte and Gran Turismo then my 228 coupe may be the perfect car for you it was the basis for the Quattroporte iv, Shamal, and Ghibli II. The 228 actually played a big part in influencing the current line of Maserati automobiles, the perfect fusion of luxury and sport in a beautiful hand built Italian package.  It looks and runs great with only 65k original miles and is lots of fun to drive with a 5 speed manual transmission and its twin turbo engine. The 228 is not to be confused with the Bi-Turbo, they are two totally different cars and the 228 is superior. Sitting inside you know you’re in something special and exotic. The Nardi wood steering wheel is something right out of a classic Ferrari and the glove soft Italian leather smells as exotic as it looks. I have babied this Maserati and put a lot of work into it like new tires, a full tune-up which included, plugs, water pump, timing belt, and serviced the steering and cooling system, even the windshield is brand new oem glass which cost $2000. Very rare exotic  and original car, 1 of approximately 150 built. The interior is the nicest I have ever been in. The 228 is not to be confused with the problematic bi-turbo series, its totally different motor, tranny, chassis etc. etc.  and cost twice as much new. Originally the M.S.R.P. was close to $60k. This is the most affordable, comfortable, reliable exotic ever made, read the attached article. The only minor upgrade that it could use is to have the wood paneling replaced on the doors, you can see in the pictures that it’s staring to crack, cost to fix around $500. You won’t believe the compliments and questions you will get everywhere you take it. If you’re the collector, or just want a nice daily driver that’s fun and a little bit different, this 228 would be perfect. The car was locally owned and has a complete, clean carfax history. The best part is the classic Maserati parts supplier is in Auburn, Washington and very affordable; their name is MIE. Buyer is responsible for shipping and payment will be by PayPal.
