1995 Mazda MX-5 Miata M-Edition
| ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
Limited production M-Edition, merlot (burgundy) with tan leather interior & wood grain accents – only 93,000 miles! SWEET RIDE. 1.8L 4-cylinder 5-speed gets 28 mpg. Soft-top convertible, Power Steering, Power Brakes, Power Windows, Cruise Control, CD Player, Recharged AC, Limited slip differential, only 5k on a set of four Toyo Proxes4 tires mounted on BBS spoke wheels, rear spoiler, front/rear air dams, real wood trim accents, nice paint, non-smoker and garaged. A well-cared-for, classy and dependable sports car. I always liked the merlot color and the wheels on the '95 car and bought this one about three years ago. The 1993 Special Edition and 1995 M Edition are the only models that these BBS spoke wheels came stock on a Miata. M-Edition cars were limited production, about 3,000 each year. I bought this car with about 44,000 miles on it from a fellow in Federal Way. It's been my daily driver for the last three years and I haven't had to do any mechanical work on it. I replaced the tires about 5,000 miles ago, so it has a good set of Toyo Proxes4 tires. I bought a new car a few weeks ago and I don't want to over-winter the Miata outside. So regrettably, it has to go. The fellow I bought the car from told me that the car came from Alaska and had been rear-ended and rebuilt, so it has a salvage title. I looked it over and all the repairs were done well and looked like the original, including new paint. The trunk area looks like new. The front bumper is beginning to show some wear from the 50,000 miles I put on it, mostly local freeways, but a bra would cover it and look sharp to boot! The interior is clean, no cracks in the dash and no tears in either of the leather seats. It comes with M-Edition badging on the floor mats (driver’s is starting to show wear but you can get a new set for about $75), the Miata logo on the sill plates and Miata stitched into the top of the seats - which have adjustable head rests. The stereo was Mazda's premium sound system at the time and includes and in-dash CD-player, lower door panel speakers and tweeters forward on the upper doors. It has a locking glove box and center arm rest where you'll find the trunk and gas cap release levers. The convertible top has one small tear (smaller than a dime) which was properly repaired before I bought it - and a plastic rear window. The car has been regularly maintained and is mechanically sound - everything works as it's supposed to. I had the air conditioner recharged this summer and it blows cold - great for staying cool with the top down in the sun. There is a small clutch fluid leak but not enough to show on the garage floor. If I had a 3-car garage I would keep it! NADA prices the car at $6,025 retail, $4,075 Trade-In. Kelly Blue Book prices the car at $6,485 Retail, $4,960 Private Party. It's tough to find a nice '95 M-Edition under 100k miles, so it won't take long to sell it at this price. | ||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||||
