As seen in the pictures this nice looking 1997 MERCEDES E420 has sustained a light left rear end/side damage. It was directly purchased from insurance auctions and no middle man involved.  ALL AIRBAGS OK. Engine still runs great and sounds great. Exterior in great condition. Paint shines great. Interior is nearly in mint condition with very little wear/tear signs. Excellent wood trim. All internal electronics in tact and in working order. Looks like it was mostly highway driven.  Engine starts and we are able drive the car in our lot. Rear glass is broken but no damage to the glass frame. NO UNDERCARRIAGE DAMAGE. NO SUSPENSION DAMAGE. The car starts right up and there is no damage to the engine and we were able to test drive the car in our lot. Nice looking, fully loaded, sporty, easy fixer Mercedes E420 with excellent leather/wood interior.

Insurance companies usually salvage vehicles due to collision, theft, flood..etc. but this doesn't mean that they are beyond repair. In most cases its not the actual damage to the car that causes a vehicle to be salvaged but the circumstances under which they are declared salvage. For example, theft recovered vehicles are always salvaged since they are usually recovered after the owner is paid off by the insurance company. Whatever the case is these cars can easily be returned to the streets and that is why they're sold through auctions as repairable vehicles.

We have the salvage title in our possession and it will be assigned to the new owner to follow up with their state salvage process. Every state has its own salvage process and its usually filling out some forms and taking the car to an inspection after repairs (if any repairs are needed)
