I am selling this vehicle for an elderly friend. I dont know much about it but I will tell you all I know . This is a 1965 230 SL convertible with a removable hardtop. It is a 6 cylinder Fuel Injected , 4 speed manual transmission and it does run.Current owner has owned it for 20 + years. Odometer reads 45,000 miles although true mileage is unknown! Brakes are hanging up so it can't be driven. Excellent restoration project for someone. The exterior body seems solid with no holes, although the floors and unibody has rust as shown in pictures. Older ,amateur restoration was done a very long time ago. This was a running car up to last year. Very complete with all hardware, chrome trim, etc. It cannot be driven home and you will need to arrange for shipping. We can deliver in New England area for a reasonable fee.
