Don't miss this RARE opportunity to own one of the few 2000 Mercedes SLK 230 Designo roadsters. This SLK 230 not only has LOW miles, but also comes in an eye catching Designo Copper paint color and Designo interior. The interior is even more rare with the combination black and Copper multi-colored contoured seats. The paint and interior are in excellent condition showing very little, normal wear and tear for a 60K plus mileage car. The engine is the supercharged 230 Mercedes engine that has a lot of power, yet gets gas mileage over 30mpg highway. The car handles curves like a dream and is great fun to cruise around in with the hardtop down and stowed in the trunk. If it looks like rain, a quick push of a button automatically converts your care back to a wateright roadster - no getting out of your seat! The car has power windows, power locks, power mirrors, heated seats, a CD changer and all the usual SLK options. This car has never been wrecked, but it does have a "Repaired Salvage" title. (It is NOT a "Salvage" title because it has been repaired and there is no more damage.) This means the car was bought by the insurance company, sold, repaired, inspected by the State Highway Patrol and re-titled as a repaired vehicle. The insurance company totalled the car simply because of an air filter fire during a cold day last February (apparently someone sprayed starting fluid on the air filter and it caught fire). The airfilter box was burned as well as several components adjacent to the air cleaner. The car was repaired with new or like new parts and now looks better than most SLKs on the road today (see engine pictures). I have been driving this car around since it was repaired and it runs and drives great. This will make a great, fun car for a fortunate new owner. Because of the title status THIS CAR WILL SELL FOR THOUSANDS LESS THAN A SIMILAR SLK 230! The car was just professionally detailed inside, outside, underbody, and engine compartment...it looks almost as good as new! The oil and filter was changed and the chassis was lubed.
