You are looking at a 1948 Mercury Convertible up For Sale. We spared no cost building this beautiful car it was done by a professional restorer. The quality of the workmanship in this car is one of the best around. This is ONE BEAUTIFUL CAR!!!!! We tried to keep the outside of this car as close to original as we could. But we have done some suspension and drive train modifications like a Mustang II front end and a 10 bolt Chevy Rear with a completely redone 289 V8 Ford Engine and a new C4 automatic transmission, with stall converter, a specially designed exhaust system, New brakes and break lines, new fuel tank, all new wiring harnesses, we wired this car so if you want to put power windows in it in the future you can easily do that. We did not ad a radio but all the wiring is there for that also. We put in all new duct work, New A/C and a special designed dash and steering wheel made by Wabbits, The door panels were made by Rod Doors all new interior with new cylinders for the convertible top. The chrome and stainless on the car have all been redone to like new condition. We have a record and pictures of everything that has been done to this beauty that go along with the car. The color on this car is a deep beautiful red that shines like glass. You do not see them like this one every day. If you are looking for a cheap car that was thrown together this is not the car you want, but if you are looking for that car that was professionally done and took more than 3 years to complete, that turns every ones head then this is it.
