There’s nothing like your first springtime drive in a convertible! This bright yellow 2006 Mini Cooper convertible is like a daffodil; it is really noticeable and a lot of fun to drive in any season. It has been well-cared for throughout its life, with all of its routine maintenance done on time. This zippy little car is new enough to have all of the safety features of a big car – driver and passenger smart dual-threshold dual-stage airbags, side-impact airbags, roll hoops, and easy-to-see-and-reach instruments (many are integral to the multi-function steering wheel) – that you want for your teen but it’s flashy and fun enough for any teenager-at-heart!

The exterior body is in terrific shape; there are currently a few minor rock chips in the paint on the nose of the car but the exterior paint is otherwise excellent, and these flaws are minor (refer to my photographs and judge for yourself). The fabric of the convertible top and its rear glass window are in excellent condition; the automatic soft-top works, going up and down at the touch of a button. All of the car’s features - the optional Harmon-Kardon sound system, air conditioning, heat, heated seats, and electric windows - work properly. There are a few scratches on the interior painted surface of the driver’s door from being rubbed by the driver’s arm but they are invisible from the outside and easily repairable if they bother you. The optional front fog lamps make seeing while driving in wet weather a breeze.

The car is extremely responsive and holds the road; driving it made me feel like a kid again! It’s a car for all seasons; it is a convertible for warm weather that is also equipped with the cold weather package, including heated seats (I call them bun warmers; they are a wonderfully luxurious welcome when driving on a cold night), heated washer jets, and heated mirrors. Spring will be here in a few short months; you need this convertible!

The tires are in fair condition and will need replacement in the near future. The car comes as is, with no warranty, but, with a total MSRP of $23,750, this car is a steal for the minimum bid of $6500.

Robison Service is New England’s leading independent service center for Mini Cooper. Read about us online from the links in our eBay store. We try to be completely honest with our customers; if you do not intend to honor your offer please do not bid. Upon the close of the auction, the winning bidder will be notified and is required to respond within 48 hours and provide a 10% down payment via wire transfer or certified funds unless other arrangements have been made with Robison Service. All payments are required within five business days of the end of the auction. Once all payments have cleared, the vehicle will be released to the winning bidder.

Taxes: Vehicles that are picked up at our facility OR shipped to any state in New England are subject to 6.25% Massachusetts sales tax; it's the law and we must obey it to remain a licensed dealer. If you are required to pay additional taxes in another state, you can file for a rebate from the MA DOR. To pay the tax, you can either send us a cashier’s check made payable to the Commonwealth of Massachusetts or include the funds in your wire transfer to us. Questions? Message or email!

Fees: All vehicle sales are subject to our $129 document fee. In addition to Massachusetts sales tax, MA residents are required to have insurance and to pay title and registration fees on vehicle purchases. Out-of-state buyers must pay all applicable taxes and registration fees.

Shipping: The buyer is responsible for all shipping costs. Please understand that Robison Service will arrange shipping for you as a value added service only, if requested. We are NOT the shipping company. We are not responsible for trucking delays or trucking related problems. All shipping questions and/or concerns should be addressed directly with the shipping company used to transport said vehicle, but should you be unsatisfied with your shipping service, please let us know as we want to recommend only quality shippers.

Warranty: The vehicle in this auction is being sold as a pre-owned vehicle, in AS IS condition (vehicles are subject to the MA Lemon Aid Law only if they have 100,000 in mileage).

Seller reserves the right to notify bidders and end the auction early without any liability to the bidders.

The vehicle is available for inspection from 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday through Friday, at our Springfield, MA facility. We strongly urge potential buyers to personally inspect the vehicle, hire a licensed appraiser, or to ask questions.

Cash is accepted for all items picked up at our facility in Springfield, MA, subject to federal requirements on cash transactions of $10,000 or more. We accept major credit cards for parts and service. We accept cashier's checks and wire transfers for vehicle purchases.

We charge a $129 document processing fee on all vehicle sales.
