Other sellers on Ebay claim that Seiko clock inserts are 100% waterproof. This is NOT true. (Seiko's own website does not make this claim!) We believe that they are suitable for motorcycles and that they are water-resistant enough to give you many years of service. If water does get in, we will warranty it for 3 years. We buy Seiko clock inserts from the U.S. distributor, just like the "other guy." (I guess they are specially made for us too.) The clock you will receive is brand new. And, yes, they are marked "Seiko Precision" on the back of the case.
