Getting a D.U.I. is not what you want to get while driving your MG, unless it is the D.U.I. (Davis Unified Ignition) Distributor. The D.U.I. is a powerful, one-piece, one-wire distributor for MG applications. Upgrade your MG's ignition system with Performance Distributors' performance technology. The fully electronic D.U.I. eliminates the hassles of changing points and makes for a much neater installation than aftermarket systems that require an electrician to figure out the complicated wiring.

The 50,000 volt D.U.I. Coil, located inside the distributor cap, allows you to open the spark plug gaps to a whopping .055"! This provides your MG with a more powerful burn of the fuel mixture. The high output Dyna-Module provides a longer spark duration. The D.U.I. features a heavy duty cap and rotor with solid brass terminals, creating better conductivity while preventing corrosion.

Every MG D.U.I. is calibrated on a distributor machine with a very smooth advance curve. This leads to instant throttle response and prevents engine damaging detonation.

Although the D.U.I. is uniquely designed, replacement parts are easily found. GM H.E.I. replacement parts will fit right on the D.U.I. and these parts can be found at your local auto parts store. An optional tach hookup is also included.

Models that are 1967 and older require converting from a positive ground to a negative ground and from a 6 volt to a 12 volt system.

* Due to technical reasons, Performance Distributors can not build the MG DUI with a vacuum advance.
