It's just as easy to hook up too. The jack has it's own fuse inline. To power it you only have to tap into the auxuliary power source already on your standard RV plug. You may be able to simply splice into the black wire that recharges your safety breakaway battery. It's that easy. This jack has everything. It's weather tight, it has lights to make night hook-up easy and it rolls up well out of the way . It fits right into the standard universal jack mounting hole on your trailers' standard hitch ball receiver. There's no cutting, boring, welding or anything requiring tools except that one wrench to remove the screws holding the old knuckle buster manual crank.
