Operating instructions

This innovative system will allow you to achieve the benefits of powder coating small parts instead of coating them with paint. The new Dual Voltage system gives you the capability to coat small areas using the Low 15kv setting. Or coat large areas using the High voltage setting 25kv. All you need is a compressed air source (5-10 PSI from a portable tank with a regulator or a compressor) and an electric oven or toaster oven. The Hot Coat Dual Voltage system should only be used in a clean, dry, well-ventilated work area! A dedicated electric oven should be used.

Note - Always wear a dust mask when handling or applying powder.

Power unit supplies over 9000 VDC at 15 micro amps. Plugs into grounded 110- 20VAC outlet. Gun requires as little as .5 cfm at 5-10 psi. Fill cup no more than 1/4-1/3 full, wave the nozzle in a circular motion about 4-6" from the surface to keep the powder flowing efficiently and coat evenly. Use 8 psi for best results. Powder coated surfaces withstand fuel, Brake fluids and most solvents and are very chip resistant. Wear a respirator while curing powder. Do not apply powder into a small boxed area.
